| Description:Bangi
Rughu is one the modern villages of Sangat block of punjab,having a focalpoint,a
middle School, a health center, a convent School and water Works. Village
is situated between Bangi dipa Singh in north, Sukhladi in the south, Pacca
kalan in the west and Bangi Nihal Singh in the east. Raman is 5 Km.J assi
Bagsar is about 10 Km. Bathinda is 25 Km. Kot shamir is about 12 Km.
Police station is Raman. History: Villagee Stone was laid down by baba Rughu, a brother of Rama of Phool Dynasty.Some people call this village as Rughuana. Livelihood of the villagers is mainly agriculture. Only a few are working in some jobs. About 20 persons are settled abroad either in USA, Canada, Europe. |
