Description: Bau Pur Pind is located on the bank of Sutlej river. One side is old river other side is Sutlej.

This pind was found by Surjan Singh,Goma Singh Jagga Singh(all of these were NEHANG SINGH)

First name of this Pind was "CHHANA NEHANG SINGH". This village was founded in
1961.There was no any school. In this village all of these people belong to Rai sikh biradry.

In the start panchayat was combind with Bhamam pind.
Now Baupur has their own pind panchayat and High School

History: Bau Pur was batween two river,when there was flood in river all villager's has to go on other safe place. In 1964 DHUSI BANDH was constructed..
