| Description:A fairly
large village, set on high ground compared to other villages in the area.
The village can be found between, Samalsar and Panj Grain ( chhota ). The
nearest main road is the Moga-Kot Kapura Rd.
The village has 3 Gurudwaras, 1 Singh Sabha, 1 Ramgariha Sahib, 1 Mahazibe Gurudwara Sahib. The main population of the village consist of Tarkhan Sikhs, and a large number of Chumar Sikhs, who populate three bastis in the village. There is a government school in the village, and a private one which is called Major Ajaib Singh School, which has a very high standard of education. The Jatt Sikhs of the village are of the Sidhu-Brar gothe. Other villages in the area are, Landeke, Damru, Olak and Nathuwal. The ancestors of the village come from Bhalur. There is also an empressive old darwaza (door/gate) in the village
next to the Major Ajaib Singh School.
